UCPI supplies half-cells and reference electrodes to suit various applications. There are many portable and permanent types available including: copper, copper sulphate; silver, silver chloride; zinc; and other special purpose electrodes.

Specially designed low resistance porous conical ceramic tip. Excellent shelf life and highest sensing allows measurements with stability. Quick connection with knurled holder to avoid error in measurements. Capability to connect extension handles for PSP survey. Each half cell reference electrode is filled with pure copper sulfate crystals. Just add distilled water and start using half cell.

Specification: Permanent Copper/Copper Sulphate Reference Electrode is designed for permanent installation in soil environments along pipelines and beneath storage tank bases. Each reference electrode comprises pot material buf stoneware clay to give maximum porosity and contains a 750 mm spirally wound high conductivity 10 sqmm copper wire embedded in pure copper sulphate crystals. For high resistivity applications reference electrodes can be supplied pre-packed in cotton bag with a gypsum/bentonite/sodium sulphate backfill.
